REMEMBER CHRISTMAS IS A TIME TO WORSHIP JESUS CHRIST

Christmas is a time to worship Jesus Christ who emptied Himself and took the form of a bond servant on our behalf.

Therefore, have you ever thought about just offering a gift to God during the Christmas season?

Perhaps you give presents to love ones, friends, and neighbors, but have you considered how you might bless the Lord Almighty?

After all, Christmas is a time to worship Jesus Christ, who emptied Himself and took the form of a bond servant on our behalf.  (Phil. 2:7) "MERRY CHRISTMAS"

"Sucessful witnessing is simply taking the initiative to share Christ in power of the Holy Spirit and leaving the results to God." Campus Crusade-Motto

How To Give An Effective Witness:

"Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not       away,  the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send Him unto you."  "And when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteous, and judgment." "Of sin, because they they believe not on me.  "Of righteous, because I go to my Father, and you see me no more; "Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged." John 16: 7-11

It's not the Christian's responsibility to try to persuade people to accept Christ, but only to give witness of the Gospel of 1 Chor. 15:3-4.  When you share the Gospel to an individual that Christ died for mankind's sins, His burial and resurrection, you have given an effective witness.  Then, its the Holy Spirit conviction ministry to convict (reprove) the individual of sin, righteousness and judgment. John 16:7-11.

Once a person hears the Gospel, then the Holy Spirit begins to convict the individual to believe and receive Christ.  If the individual refuses and rejects the message and does not receive Christ he or she becomes an unbeliever and the wrath of God remains upon them.-John 3:36

The effective withness is to share the Gospel and allow an individual to receive Christ.  If the person prays to receives Christ, he or becomes a believer and is saved.-Eph 2:8-9.  The sole responsibility is to take the initiative to witness the Gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit and leaves the result to God.

REMEMBERING WE ARE SAVED "BY GRACE" AS WE ENTER INTO THE SEASON OF THANKSGIVING

As we enter into this season of Thanksgiving, and look forward to celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Let us not forget that our faith rests solely on the generosity of God's Salvation gift. (John 3:16)

We are saved "by grace."  Grace means unearned, underdeserved favor, a gift in other words.  We are God's children today because God sent his Son, Jesus Christ to die in our place on the cross of Calvary.

Therefore, we need to imitate God by living to give.  We are His possession, created by Him to walk in good works.  Therefore, we should commit our whole lives to serving Him in love and obedience.

THE IMPORTANCE OF BIBLE STUDY

The Bible!  If there is any book in the world people should consider seriously reading and studying, it's the Bible.  Why?  Because just as people require food for physical sustenance, they also need God's truth for spiritual nourishment and fulfillment.

The church in all it's worship, teaching, preaching and life's test on the Bible.  The Bible offers new insights each time it is read.  But it's the same with Bible study as with most things; we get out of it what we put into it.

Reading and studying the Bible can become and exciting adventure and life changing experience in Christ Jesus.

There are at leat (6) reasons you should be in Bible study.

  1.       The Bible tells your origin
  2.       The Bible tells how you can become a member of God's family
  3.       The Bible offers worthwhile goals for your life
  4.       The Bible states that He sent His Son to die for you
  5.       The Bible tells what happens to people after death
  6.       The Bible tells how much God cares for you
